glitch fontaine

has anyone gotten the glitch at the beginning of point prometeus where you are supposed to chase fontaine but he halts at the glass door? thus preventing you from advancing any further

Yes, had this issue. Can't fix it, was in a 10~ hour playthrough(4-5 of it replaying levels), have to start all over. Didn't care until it crashed after meeting Johnny.

Suicide didn't work(vita chamber on and off), reloading a quick save didn't either. I saved right on this level due to the fact the game kept crashing, so I'm personally ♥♥♥♥♥♥. if you saved before this, load it and try.

already tried, i actualy had several saved files due to the game crashing while saving(thus destroying my save file) doesnt fix the glitch

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, 22 hour gameplay, exploring every hole in the game, taking every recording audio, and I have to star all over again because of this bug. I love this series games, but this makes me really pissed of.

Maybe this will be addressed in the future patch. At least I hope so, because I don't have the determination to start the game all over again...

same thing just happened. After working ym way around save glitches, I finally managed to get to Point Prometheus only to have this happen

I figured it out using the auto save for Point Prometheus, don't go out of the Bathysphere; wait, then when he's in the hallway and you approach he moved for me allowing me to progress.

It seems Fontaine gets stuck if he takes any damage at all, bullets, plasmids, fire... It does not matter what the source is, he gets stuck in a loop on the ground if he gets hit. Staying back and not following him seems to be the best solution. The only way to get things going again is to load the bathysphere autosave or from some point before then if he gets locked up.
