[Fixed]Survivor difficulty achievs problems

Sup everyone,
Like everybody im having some problems with this remastered version. Every time i load a survivor save it switches to medium diff. save.

So what i did was play non stop survival til the end but -----my game crashed and it switched to medium, should switch to survival again and keep playing from this save?

I've heard you can simply reload a previous save, change the difficulty back to Survivor and only then reload your current save to keep doing survival and get its achievements.

I see you have the achievs, did u have the same problems?

Nah, not a single crash for me. Only "issue" I could say I've had is missing frames of animations in cameras and their lights on the ground.

Otherwise, you can go delete something in the ini files before relaunching the game after a crash but you'll have to look in other threads for the specifics as I haven't memorized them since I didn't need to use it.

Load the game, check the diff. If it's on normal, just go to options and set it back to survivor. Now load the game again just to be sure.

This worked for me, and got the achievement.

Make the bioshock.ini read only, so the game can't change the settings.
