Plasmid Hotkeys Not Tied to Their Slots?
I seem to be having a lot of trouble getting Plasmids onto specific slots. It only ever seems to place the most recently changed Plasmid near the end of the bar instead of me being able to choose exactly which slot I want which Plasmid on. Is this another issue with the Remaster currently or is there a workaround?

Ja same here :( This is very strange. Every time when new better plasmid found the hotkeys switching confuse O.o

The sad part is that it was in the original game too.

Last time I played the original, plasmids would move around randomly. It was a pain in the rear to put it mildly. I just learned to use the mouse wheel. I haven't played the remaster enough to test it out, but I guess they didn't fix that either.

Worst remaster .. Ever.

I find the plasmids go in a better order if put them in right-to-left in the gene replacing machine

Found this in a old Original Bioshock thread ! This works for me. Its not the final solution bud for now its ok

This is difficult to explain but the order in-game is the order that the plasmids were placed in the gene-bank but it can get out of order when you add a plasmid in-game that you found or bought and did not add by using the gene-bank.

To reorder the plasmids you will need one extra plasmid that is stored and you must have all current slots filled. I'm not sure if it's possible to change the order when you have an empty plasmid slot or no extra stored plasmids.

Reorder the plasmids by swapping out ALL the plasmids in the order that you want them to appear.

Start with the first slot, even if that is the plasmid you want there, swap out the first plasmid. Again, swap out the first slot with the plasmid you want in that slot. Continue with each slot in order swapping out the current plasmid then swapping in the plasmid you want in that particular slot. If you do this in order from the first slot to the last slot and do not skip a slot the plasmids will be in that order in-game.

When you get a new plasmid AND you do not store it but place it into one of your active slots you may find that the order in-game will change (screwed up) because the last plasmid you add is usually added to the last slot no matter that you did not place it there. No problem, go to a gene-bank and reorder ALL the plasmids again.

I agree, that the plasmid slots as seen in the gene-bank should be the same order as in-game.

Thanks, I couldn't quite remember the workaround and was just fudging it until it worked XD

WAY too much time at the gene bank until I had it figured out. If they want to fix more things in the remasters, this issue should definitely be on the list.

Aren't the plasmids sorted alphabetically?

Found a solution.
You can have 6 Plasmid Slots max. You need 7 Plasmids in order to customize slots.
Go to a Gene Machine, and add the plasmids in order that you want, but drag & drop them backwards from slot #6 - #1.
