ForceGlobalLighting=True
Hi to all! There is an option ForceGlobalLighting=True in ini file. This option enables better lighting. But when its true, game crashes every time when flying robots starts to attack. Here is the log from ShaderErrors folder

/* HEADER DATA

VSMain
<\ENTRY>
<TARGET>
vs_4_0
<\TARGET>
<INCLUDE_REMAPS>
MATERIALFACTORY=MaterialFactory_Shader.hlsl
VERTEXFACTORY=VertexFactory_NULL.hlsl
<\INCLUDE_REMAPS>
<ERRORS>
Unable to find shader file GlobalLitLighting.hlsl<\ERRORS>*/
/*No preprocessed code available. Last error:

*/

Maybe somebody have the same issue too and know, how to fix this? Thanks to all!

Actually from what I've read ForceGlobalLighting enforces a less accurate form of lighting.

Yes, that setting causes various crashes, and in theory, would only make the game look worse, so no need to fix that.

Oh, thanks for the answers, guys. I thought Bioshock looks better with this option. but if it is not, no need to fix that.

No wonder the game keeps crashing for some people.

I actually think the game does look better using the option as True, but idk, the way they made this game produce crashes in some systems...

Force Global Lighting completely screws up shadows. It's basically the static lighting option.

force global lighting was an option in the graphics menu in normal Bioshock, it makes the lighting worse, sometimes ignoring shadows caused by objects in the levels.
