Fighting Mcdonagh FPS problems
http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=766451614 As soon as I opened the first door leading to this area my FPS tanked and become incredibly unstable. Saving and loading the Save Game does not fix the FPS and neither does quitting the game to the desktop, starting the game from the desktop and then reloading my progress.

The game was a buttery smooth 60FPS the entire time until I reached this location.

Edit: Solution found

Solution found. Progress through the area until you reach the door that requires the Shock Plasmid to activate/open (found early in the area). Open it by shocking the switch and the FPS issue resolves itself! Makes zero sense!

The issue seems to be some of the real-time reflections from the Vita Chamber near the entrance to the Tavern, I have the same issue.

I'm assuming that the door requiring the plasmids loads the next area and unloads just enough of the tavern to restore performance.

But you can return to the Vita Chamber area without the performance issues returning. The visual anomalies with the water near the Vita Chamber still occurs too. This is why it makes no sense, as I originally thought it had something to do with the buggy water too.

I assume opening the locked door causes a broken script to stop running.

The performance worsens when you go up the stairs but it isn't as bad as when first entering Fighting Mcdonagh and it also fixes it self once you go through all the rooms up there.
