Thank god it doesn't. The First game had no reason to dual wield.

You do understand the difference between a remaster and a remake.

but my opinion would be better that you dont need to switch guns or plasmids everytime, it would be much better like Bio2 MP dual wielding :/

it's a bit weird the main character can only use one hand while the other is busy doing... whatever, maybe carrying a handbag full of weapons, ammo, money and random loot. Joking aside, had dual-wielding been introduced in this remaster then all encounters with enemies would have needed to be redone... or the game would have been broken beyond hope.
