At the end, the entire order of my weapons was screwed up when I got them back. I guess the devs didn't want you to cheat. You probably picked up a pistol in that fight, messing up the order of the wrench and the pistol.
Also similarly annoying when upgrading a Plasmid to the "2" or "3" version reshuffles your loadout, but that's fixable by going to a Gene Bank, swapping all your plasmids out, then swapping them back into the slots you want.
Tiny issues like this I expected them to have fixed in this Remaster, it's a damn shame.
That makes sense actually, I remember noticing it didn't have the weird quick scrolling through every weapon in your hands thing. Maybe I'm just getting mixed up with the plasmid shuffling issue which was definitely in the original.
Yep, I believe that whole mechanism of taking away/returning weapons works differently in Remastered. I replayed regular BS month or two ago and I definitely picked pistol during that fight, but there was no issue with that when I got my guns back.
As you mentioned this "scrolling", I think the game (old one) just gave you all weapons in correct order. Whereas now, I have no clue how Remastered works.
Also, in old game, you were stripped of your ammo and when you got your weapons back, you always got same amount of ammo for the weapons. In Remastered, I believe the game keeps ammo counts saved somewhere, because when I got my weapons back, I had even some of the special ammo types (maybe I'm wrong, I didn't really checked at that moment, but that's how I experienced it) - that's why I believe the whole process works differently now.
