Weapon Order
So after fighting Peach Wilkins (where I had to give up all my weapons) I got my weapons back.
But now my wrench is in weapon slot 2 and my pistol is in weapon slot 1...

That's annoying.

Is there a way to fix this?

Crap that would be annoying I forgot about that part. I mean you can shuffle your Plasmids but don't know of any way to do it with weapons and they fact they get shuffled is just another fail...
I went with the whole strategy of bringing guns to this fight (using Telekinesis to bring a tommy gun and a shotgun into the airlock, allowing me to use guns even after I give into Peach's demands).

At the end, the entire order of my weapons was screwed up when I got them back. I guess the devs didn't want you to cheat. You probably picked up a pistol in that fight, messing up the order of the wrench and the pistol.
Yeah, that's exactly what happened. One of the guys I killed had a pistol which I grabbed before collecting all my other weapons.
Same here, its really annoying. This is a new bug. I picked up a gun during the fight in the original version and this didn't happen.
Happened to me. I picked up a pistol an enemy dropped during the fight and now it's bound to 1 and my wrench was moved to 2.
Thank you for posting this. I'll avoid picking up guns in the fight, as I've always been doing both on the Xbox and original PC version without problems.
Also happens when starting NG+ and you get your stuff in Medical.
Try not to pick any weapon when you have only Plasminds, this was in original too :D Then when you get your weapons there should be in order.
I noticed that too. Was going to check the ini bindings when I get home to see if it is reversed In the file as well.

Experienced the same issue.
I experinced this same issue but resolved it by pressing 2 rather than 1 when I wanted to use the wrench and pressing 1 rather than 2 when I wanted to use the pistol. Have any other users found this tactic helpfull?
Had this same issue, very annoying. Go to your control settings and bind "Equip Weapon 1" to the 2 key and "Equip Weapon 2" to the 1 key - that's how I solved this. They'll still be the wrong way round on the weapon palette that appears when switching weapons but my muscle memory for which key = which weapon overrides that visual issue for me.

Also similarly annoying when upgrading a Plasmid to the "2" or "3" version reshuffles your loadout, but that's fixable by going to a Gene Bank, swapping all your plasmids out, then swapping them back into the slots you want.

Tiny issues like this I expected them to have fixed in this Remaster, it's a damn shame.
Actually this weapon order issue was introduced into the remaster for the first time, I think. In the original, you got all your weapons back from the penumo one at a time, in the proper order. Now, you get all of them back at once.

That makes sense actually, I remember noticing it didn't have the weird quick scrolling through every weapon in your hands thing. Maybe I'm just getting mixed up with the plasmid shuffling issue which was definitely in the original.

Yep, I believe that whole mechanism of taking away/returning weapons works differently in Remastered. I replayed regular BS month or two ago and I definitely picked pistol during that fight, but there was no issue with that when I got my guns back.

As you mentioned this "scrolling", I think the game (old one) just gave you all weapons in correct order. Whereas now, I have no clue how Remastered works.

Also, in old game, you were stripped of your ammo and when you got your weapons back, you always got same amount of ammo for the weapons. In Remastered, I believe the game keeps ammo counts saved somewhere, because when I got my weapons back, I had even some of the special ammo types (maybe I'm wrong, I didn't really checked at that moment, but that's how I experienced it) - that's why I believe the whole process works differently now.
