i have the same problem and its driving me nuts, when i download either version it asks me to repair, uninstall, or cancel, please help

I know some years has passed since then, and maybe you bought a brand new PC, but still, try to install the x86 version of that "MVC++"

Man I just install the Bioshock Enhanced version to replay it and wasn't even running, I have Windows 10 updated + graphics updates, I was going to uninstall the game but try your reco first and IT WORKED. Thanks a lot.

same here i downloaded both and installed but im still getting the same error

Unsurprisingly W10 and 11 seems to break a lot of older game compatibility. GG Microsoft.
