Where is the sister?

so it says i have 1 sister left to harvest/save before going in next area,but i found a bigdaddy on his own (without a sister) do u think if i kill this daddy it counts as i saved the sister? or the sister can be on her own?

no you have to either find a Big Daddy with her or follow the one you found cause it will lead you to the container that houses the Little Sisters just killing the Big Daddies will not be enough to save or harvest the Little Sisters so as said if you find a Big Daddy without a Little Sister follow him

The sisters come and go through the vents. They don't spawn at fixed locations and they roam around, so your best bet if one's left is to find a big daddy and follow it from a distance. After a while it will bang on a vent and a Little Sister will emerge. Once she is on the ground, go for it.

Killing Big Daddies that don't have Little Sisters with them won't count. You actually have to either "rescue" or "harvest" the little sister after killing the Big Daddy they are with. It will appear as an option between two keys (buttons if you're playing on gamepad).

hell if you end up questioning if you got all the Little Sisters find a Big Daddy and follow it to a container and see if he pulls one out of it or not

actually you can be right behind the Big Daddies they won't get aggressive with you until you shoot them so all that would happen is them just softly smacking you out of the way

My recommendation to do so from a distance is due to the Little Sister freaking out if you're too close to her (once she emerges), which in my experience is enough to aggro a Big Daddy if you don't back up real quick. Since the OP didn't seem to know about following Big Daddies, I assumed there was a good chance they were new to the game, and thought it might be nice to keep them from experiencing that first-hand.

But yeah, as long as you don't get too close to the Little Sister, follow as close as you want. It's moot anyway once you fire your first shot.

my experience as long as you're a certain distense from the Big Daddy even if it does turn to face you because of the Little Sister it won't Aggro cause you're at the minimal distense (or maybe it's because in the Original i played on Easy because the game's combat was a bit off balanced by the difficulties)
