Lighting glitch
Whenever I use electro bolt or theres a "blue light" effect, I get this weird glitch where I get flashing black boxes in that area, anybody else have this?

Yeah, I got it too, really bad while I was in the bathysphere at the start of the game, noticeable when you leave the bathysphere bay; s'about as far as I got before i decided to research the problem a little. Glad to know it isn't just me.

Same. I'm standing outside the bathysphere while I look to see if anybody has found a solution.

I turned on Vsync, and that seems to have fixed things for the moment.

I had a really crazy glitch anytime there was a flickering light in the room, turning Vsync on fixed it for me.

this used to happen in GTA V for me, the boxes atleast, turned out to be a Anti Aliasing problem dfisabling it would make it go away, might help

Flickering anything means you need to enable vsync it seems. I guess they thought that since the console version is 60fps, that PC gamers would not additional want variable frames, adaptive sync or anything of the such.

Great logic there! :-P

EDIt - never mind - even with vsync turned on everywhere I can set it fully on, I still get flickering all over the place. Jesus, what a peice of crap this port is.

flickering lights because of sparks makes it a piece of crap port? wow. you paid for it so might as well enjoy the story since thats what made bioshock good. not the gameplay or the graphics.

p.s. you spelled piece wrong
