Quest Arrow missing
Is anyone else having an issue with the quest arrow missing even with the option is on in the game. It has dissapeared since the lastest patch and I am using the game in 21:9 aspect.

Thanks.

yes. that and many other annoyances such as cutscenes cropping in odd fashion at top and bottom cutting off much of the viewable area. I honestly don't think they even test this ♥♥♥♥ anymore. They seem to not care. It's unfortunate.

Yes, I switched back to 16:9 ratio and it fixed the issue. I guess I might have to wait for another patch to trulu support 21:9. Such a shame.

Yep. Same here. I'm still waiting for the "fix" to play this. If not I'll just get it on the PS4 and play the hell out of it there.

i come from the future and there is still no fix, i searched this up because i too am playing the game on 21:9 and the arrow is still cut off, glad its not just me, but a shame they havent fixed it, same with bioshock 1s crashing when saving, that was so annoying especially when they knew about all of this for over a year

Yeah, they still didn't fix all the GUI issues. Even in 16:9. However, with 21:9 you might be out of luck at all.

Still, try this:

Maybe it fixes your problems. Did fix all of my GUI issues for sure. There is another bugfix mod of him which improves the video audio quality. 2K didn't bother to fix so much. I think they released some patches on PC which at least added 7.1 sound at such. At launch it was ONLY stereo! Can you believe that? URGH. Also use that BioShock Tweaker tool to enable some settings that are ini edit only.

This remaster PC port is really half assed. Shame.

I come even further from the future and 21:9 still isn't fixed. Had to ower to 2560x1440 to get the arrow to show. Shame really.

The future is quite sad then for this game.

It's 2023 and the game still isn't working right. I doubt there will be any fix in the near future until they revisit this IP again to re-release it again for others to play it.

2024 here, still not fixed (at least not in Bioshock 2 Remastered).
At this point it will quite obviously never be fixed, but there's a sense of camaraderie we share in suffering from the same issue across 8 years (and counting), so thought I'd chime in too.
