broken fonts
Not sure if the missing letters in the UI are supposed to be a reflection of how broken things are in Rapture.

At first I thought the boxes were checkboxes, like, I could get seven "E" bonuses and three "B" bonuses, but no these are just missing letters for the name of that plasmid. maybe the .ttf file that came with the game is missing all the lower-case letters?

I had this problem. The boxes are what comes up when computers in general don't know the font. Something Something Unicode. Anyway, it's not supposed to be boxes. I just verified the files and relaunched it and it was corrected. Start there I guess.
