Little Sister Bug

So I'm in the area around Fontaine Fisheries and for some reason one of the Little Sisters has disappeared. They're just gone. I failed to kill the Big Daddy until after she got back into the vent and after that I never saw her again. There are still two wandering Big Daddies but they both walk around banging on vents and no Little Sisters come out. This is my first playthrough and I want to save them all but I can't exactly do that when one of them vanishes.

I had that problem with the first big daddy you're supposed to kill, think I died and was sent to a vita chamber and there was no little sister anymore. Started newgame + and the achievement for harvesting/saving all little sisters popped this time around. Might be your only solution, sadly.

I didn't have to completely restart, but I did lose all progress the area and had to load a fairly old save. I wasn't happy about it, but it's what I had to do.
