Should I play normal or remastered?

I've never played any BioShock Game before and since the Collection is on Sale I thought that's a good time to start. I now have all the Games (BioShock 1, 2 (aswell as the remastered versions of these two and BioShock infinite)
Now my question: Should I play the remastered version of the first two games or the normal version?

Heard that the Remaster crashes way more often but there are more options. With some fix & not forgetting to often save go for the remaster

Hi! I'm also never played Bioshock before, Actually I started out this Morning ( like you I purchased the game on sale). I've got 3.5 hours of gaming ( Remastered Version). haven't experienced any bug or crashes from this version for the time being. also heard rumours about this issue, but i think it was a problem from the earliest versions of the game.
So i would recommend the Remaster, but ultimatelly is up to you!

normal is better only for Bioshock 2, the original crashes way less often

I crash around every 4 levels in average, and when I alt tab during a save

Just started playing the game first time today - I chose the remastered version. I'm over 7 hours in, 5 out of 16 chapters completed. I've had two crashes all in all, and other than that no bugs (that I could see). Nothing too frustrating.

I prefer the improved graphics of the Remastered version. 20 hours into the game — zero issues, zero crashes so far (MacBook Air M1, playing at 4K).

UPDATE I have just finished the game on my laptop. more than 20h of gaming and my experience the game only crashed two times and no progress lost
So it's the game is fine
