Can I get the good ending after the not so bad ending?

I completed the middle ending and I thought maybe there is a possibility of getting it within the same save file.I mean like a kind of game + with your previous abilities and all of that (although I think that's a more recent thing and this game is from 2007).Is it true or should I have to start another game entirely?

The game is great , the first Bioshock I've played completely , and I'd like to replay it for the good ending but without the abilities and just for another ending it's too much.Of all the things Atlas did to me , this is the worst , I only killed 2 Little Sisters and it was because of his ♥♥♥♥♥♥ "advice". In my opinion it seems really stupid how the game assigns you the ending , in all the missions of the game I received the gifts from Tennenbaum and the Little Sisters because of their gratitude , but suddenly the game decides that I should get the almost bad ending because I killed 2 Little Sisters :(

You can only harvest one little sister and still get the good ending. So if you can remember where you harvested the second little sister & have a save file before that point, just load up that file & play from there without harvesting anymore little sisters.You'll get a good ending, you shouldn't have to start a whole new game. I've loaded up previous saves and played through to get other things I missed instead of starting a new playthrough. Yeah, it sucks that you won't have all the same weapons, plasmids, tonics, but it won't take you that long to run through it the second time.

If you do the "new game+" option which I think you're talking about, you won't get any achievements apparently, but you will be able to play again with all your weapons how they were at the end, just don't harvest the 2nd little sister & you will have the good ending. This is probably the route you want to take since you mention not wanting to start all over without the same level of abilities just for a new ending. I haven't tried new game+, but just remember, it says you can't get achievements. Also, if you want the Little Sister Savior achievement, you cant harvest any little sisters at all. You have to save every one you encounter, but you don't have to deal with every little sister to get this. You just have to save the ones you do deal with. You'd have to do this on a new playthrough assuming you harvested the first little sister you encountered from following what Atlas said, not new game+ (if you care about achievements).

Honestly Atlas' "advice" sounds pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ right away, just the way he talks about the lttle sisters, telling you they aren't children anymore when you know you can save them and turn them into real lilttle girls again-it's like damn man, why kill them when you can save them. You still get more than enough ADAM. I had alll my plasmids maxed out and still had some ADAM left at the end.

Thanks a lot for the advice , I think I will replay it in new game + in some time , I'm almost finishing the second one now and I'd like to go back to this one.



I harvested the second little sister in the second mission so it would be just like starting again.I didn't expect it to have a new game + because when I started again the game after deafeating fontaine , the game loaded just before fontaine's fight.Fortunately , I don't care much about the achievements.I didn't harvest the first little sister although, I was planning doing it after the first to not make Tennenbaum an enemy just in the first encounter xD , in case she would try to kill me later.



Your are totally right about Atlas's advice and now that you've said it , it scares me how I took an advice of killing a girl , just because someone that I had just met by radio and not even in person told me to do it , although the game really made me doubt if they were actual people because of the things that are left when harvesting a little sister.Even though it's just virtual.I'm a very innocent person , I wont fall for that trick next time.

It also surprises me that I could get the pacifist run the first time playing Undertale and I couldn't manage to get the good ending here , although I didn't have atlas telling me to kill everyone , and I actually did what I wanted to do xD

I read on other boards that achievements were confirmed to be enabled on NG+. Is there a definitive source one way or the other?

Wait there is a newgame+ option? Huh, I might have to replay it through cause I think i only beat this one on normal, beat bioshock 2 on hard and im playing through infinite on hard as well.

Yes. Just go to new game after beating it and you'll have an NG+ option above. From there just click anywhere but back and it will open your saves so you can select a point you want to continue your character from. All the plasmids, tonics, and weapons you had at that save point will be returned to you once you reach the medical pavilion.
