Here's how you switch your active goal!

Came across an issue where I couldn't switch my active goal. The game has a little tutorial pop-up that tells you about this feature. But alas, using mouse an keyboard it wouldn't let me and showed to option to do so on the UI. I searched for a couple hours online. Found many unresolved posts with the same issue. 90% of replies didn't answer the issue and instead proceeded to give a walkthrough of the quest to the OP. That's why, when I found the solution, I felt the need to post it here so others will find a straight up answer.

In the original PC port's manual (found a pdf online) it says to highlight the quest and left mouse click to change said quest to your active quest. Well, for alot of people this just wasn't the case for the Remastered version. So I plugged in my xbox 360 controller and BAM, select the quest you want and press (A) to make it your active quest.

Yes, this could end up tedious if you choose to still use M/KB like me. I'm okay with it, I'll plug in my controller every once in a while to swap active quests.

It seems this is an issue with the UI in-game and will likely not have another work around, but if anyone finds one PLEASE post it here. I wasted plenty of today to find this and you may help somone avoid that in the future.

there are Many Issues with Remaster Version and also it seems devs they will never fix them !!

When I saw this I remembered that I bought an xbox controller for my PC a couple of years ago - just to learn how to use it so my nephews wouldn't beat the crap out of me in CoD all the time. Gave up on that, but I found it and plugged it in just for this trick - works like a charm.

it's 2023 and they still haven't fixed this issue lol. i'm having the same problem and considering i don't have a controller, i guess my walkthrough is ruined.
