If I could do more, I would. If I were the ruler of the world for example, I'd probably have them executed.
Call me paranoid if you want, but I have ran into my fair share of save corruptions in my lifetime. I've had it happen with extreamly stable PC games, console games, and even handheld games. It doesn't matter who made these games, or how they made the save system it always has the possibility to become corrupted. That is why I always find away to create some kind of backup of my save files, or save in the way that I have said above. Taking that extra step of caution has saved me so many times that it isn't even funny.
Not paranoid at all. ♥♥♥♥ developers that force us to jump through hoops like that.
The quicksave issue, as insane and stupid as it seems, is probably just one of those things where a programmer never considered what would happen if things went wrong during the saving process. As someone who's worked in both mechanical and software fields, I can assure you with great faith that redundancy and "What if it ♥♥♥♥♥ up?" is an issue that most people don't consider.
See a therapist.
As someone who works in software development, I can tell you that that is something they ALWAYS consider. Your fake credentials didn't help salvage your fallacious and stupid argument.
No thanks. I'd rather inferior people be extinguished.
Thank you for getting it. Christ.
