what is new game plus?

just finished the game, went to start a new one, got offered new game and new game plus, both say that i can keep my stuff from a previous save

New Game Plus, at least in this game's context, allows you to replay the game with all the weapons, plasmids, and upgrades you got in the first run. You regain all your gear as soon as you reach the Medical Pavillion, and the game becomes much more challenging to accomodate all your endgame items. It's basically a kind of Hardmode, except now you have your own tactics and know your enemy's patterns and weaknesses.

thanks but when i start a new game without the plus it also says i can keep my plasmids
heh, and it doesn't seem hard at all, i selected the hardest dificulty now, with new game plus, almost finished the second playtrough without dying once
(altough the game crashes when he wants)

So u mean i can play survival difficulty in new game + with my stuff already ? Thx

Seems too easy for me… even in survival mode. You can skip a good chunk of medical, neptune, arcadia… The game doesn't seem to scale to your overpowered self. Making NG+ boring except for trying other plasmids.
