No LAN support for Stronghold 2?

Well GameSpy servers are permanently offline and I know Stronghold 2 was part of the GameSpy network.
Everytime click in Multiplayer, the game hangs for about a minute and then it says "Error Multiplayer not available". I can't even click anything. However I wonder, is there no support for pure LAN in Stronghold 2?

use gameranger for online play on stronghold 2 and other games what has had therre online servers shut down i use it all the time and the stronghold community i in (strongholdnation) uses gameranger for online play

Does GameRanger also support LAN and not just online where I need hamachi etc? My question was more LAN oriented.

thing about gameranger is that when someone disconnects for even a second there gaame just closes and leaves the other players hanging this is a damn iritating isue and i realy need help

gameranger is not working for me properly, why ? when host created server, my game launch and then menu just open so ı cannot join the server after then. Do you know why it is not let me in the server directly ?

Whenever i open up my server on gameranger the game is closed down, dose anybody know why this happens?
