I just wish that after two decades they would fix SOME of the bugs in Stronghold 2. For example, if a torturer is called out while he is watching a joust, the second one is never called and the game is stuck. You have to delete the jail and rebuild to continue. Then there's the "destroyed building appears instantly" annoyance, which is dumb because they have the graphics for a slow demise the other direction. Whole bunch of simple things wrong, but the developers are not paying attention. Even so, it's addictive, but come on guys, a couple of days would fix the most egregious bugs and goose game sales without all the bad reviews.

How the sprite work has still held up. How it's a better balanced game. How you don't have to hear constantly that your people are turning to crime even though your economy is doing well and you're giving people extra rations.

S2 is actually about building and ruling a medieval castle. Crusader is just another RTS. Sure, you build walls and towers but it pretty much it. Also in S2 you can chop ppls head off, amirtie? Campaign is imho nicer, although way too short.

They should remake S2. With a game mode modeled after "They are Billions" where you get stormed with increasingly stronger assaults. Plus better mod support and we are golden!
