i guess you didn't like playing against someone who cheated or hacked.
So doing it yourself is your solution?!
bad solution...

Maybe U met a pro player. It's easy to find some videos on YT, made by Pros, then U will know how they "cheat" LOL. Of course this game has a lot of glitches, like U said: somoene can place water in Ur castle, walking army on the water/through the forest, etc. Then yeah U can call whoever does this CHEATER!, but never pro player who has spent a lot of time training to be better. Pros don't need to use cheats, only "noobs" do this. As Sagittarius said, doing the same as they doing - bad solution, if we all did it, then there is no game on MP.

Really the only cheat that was ever accepted in multiplayer was frogging. Place three stockpiles then delete the center one. So you can space your stockpiles father apart. There's also alot of other things you can do such as placing a building on top of a gong then deleting it. Alot of people prohibit players from placing wooden walls or moats behind stonewalls. Because it's impossible to penetrate a castle in a no siege match. You can also fence in your jousting without reducing your production. Some people also oppose that. These are not really cheats, there just things people do that the community has rejected as acceptable gameplay. There are some real hacks such as water walking. That can easily be done, but I guarantee you if people catch you doing it they won't play with you anymore. Years ago people would use an IP tracker, and log everybody when they connected to a multiplayer match. If you got caught cheating people would just block that IP address on Windows firewall. Then you would never be able to join future matches. Most people don't do it anymore because it's so easy to just change your IP addresses. But years ago it was hard to actually change your IP address and was very effective.
