Buying Collection or Stronghold 2 steam edition by itseslf?

I was wondering if anyone knows if you buy the collection if that comes with the steam edition of stronghold 2 or if you have to buy the steam edition separate? I know they say for current owners you get a free upgrade but what if I buy the collection now?

if it is like the stronghold legends steam edition or the stronghold and stronghold crusader hd versions it replaces the normal stronghold 2 entirely on steam so it should not matter if you buy the collection or the game itselfe.

Hello, I have a question. I have stronghold collection on dvd, so is it stronghold 2 steam edition for free also for me? Or it´s only for collection from steam? Thanks.

Sadly, you have to buy it on Steam. Game on disc can't be upgraded to Steam Edition.

Owned Stronghold 2 and Legends on Disk and would like to play them both again in the Steam Edition .

edit: Bought it and was confused because I just found the normal versions in my library.

So, if I buy the collection all games will be either HD or Steam Edition (for Stronghold 2 & Stronghold Legends). Correct?

Ya, they don't label things that it will be as such but it turns out that they are steam edition and if applicable HD for the ones that have been released as HD. So you are correct.
