Please try running the game as an administrator.

To do this, follow these steps:

1)Right-click Stronghold 2 within your Steam Library and select Properties

2)Click on the Local files tab and then click on 'Browse local files...'

3)Right click FFLauncher.exe within your Stonghold 2 folder and select properties

4)Click on the Compatibility tab and then tick the 'Run this program as an administrator'

Hi, are you having the MSVCP100.dll error? If so, please use the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Service Pack 1 Redistributable Package MFC Security Update: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=26999&tduid=(d2bebaa50965ec8d1edf896ffa29c112)(266696)(1503186)(68756X1554900X342f800b004d4499f1b53608fd7ab1b8)()

yes, i just try that but it didnt work...
when i open the game he ask me permission and then comes out this error:
FFlauncher.exe - Bad Image
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Stronghold 2\MSVCP100.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. Try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software vendor for support.

i had the game before on the collection and was working fine, im on windows 7, living in sydney... dont know if that matters....

What about error code d3dx9_43.dll ????
Wuik Oct 6, 2017 @ 4:34am
Don't work for me too....that is stupid because i played always and got the stronghold collection on Cd but not on Steam.
If i can't find a solution i may only ask for a remboursement of the game..
