Population Limit

Hey, does anyone know how to increase the population cap for kingmaker mode or if it is even possible? Right now my peasants will usually cap out around (112) somtimes (120). I think the pop limit varies by map. I have created my own map and i capped out at 112 pop :( .... was kind of hoping that I would be able to build an ever expanding city while playing on kingmaker.

Absolutely. If you are on a Map that has estates to rule, you have to increase your estate number in order to increase your population limit. In Kingmaker conquering rival castles and ruling their estates is the only way to increase pop cap.

Yup the more estates there are the more population you will have. It doesn't matter who owns them, however only estates count, so this means that a map with 8 slots and 2 players will have 136 population on their main castle and if you play the same map with 8 players the total population limit will be around 90-100. I am not sure if when players are defeated the population number will rise or not.
