Stronghold 2 - Weird Mouse BUG / Please help.

Just installed SH2 and everything was fine, until i enter to the game. When i move my mouse in menu and in-game FPS drops to 1, yes 1, and it makes the game unplayable as you can imagine... I know back in time when this game was first released it had so many bugs/flaws etc. but come on... still exists ? I try to find this problem on forums but can't find any.

Am I missing something or is it just a random bug?

By the way I got a pretty good computer that runs triple A games on ultra etc, so not about low pc specs. (just for info)

disable g-sync and fix the refresh rate in gpu control panel; worked for me

I had the same problem and fixed it by downgrading my NVIDIA drivers to 457.30. Maybe that driver version works for others too. You can find the most recent versions here: https://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx

I played CD (Deluxe, 1.4.1) version and this bug occurred for me too and never before! WTF!

Do you know which from which version Nvidia drivers starts breaking the game?

The Cyberpunk one, around 9. december (460.79 version). Not only Cyberpunk is broken, it breaks other games too! Just kiddin'.

How do fix the refresh rate? Where do I find the gpu control panel?

Did you find these settings? What if someone's monitor doesn't use G-sync? I can't find this option in Nvidia panel. Will disabling V-sync help? WDY mean "fix the refresh rate"? U mean, limit the game to run at most in 60 fps?

Also, try lowering mouse polling rate. It worked for me

I have the same issue, cursor fading and comng back and frames fluctuating. It is nearly unplaybale

Where? In the manufacturer's software, if there is any for a mouse?

I know I am late but this solution worked for me.
WIn+R --> services.msc --> Search for "NVIDIA Display Container LS" --> right click --> Stop
This however can make problems for other programs so I would suggest restarting this service after you are finished playing stronghold.
