Can't right click + drag on macbook?

I can't get through the tutorial because I can't right click and drag to change the view. I have right click set to be the bottom-right area of the touch, pad - when i tap it the menu comes up, but when i move the cursor while holding it down it just changes to regular left-click drag. :/

Anyone know of any keyboard shortcuts or alternatives?
