Audio But No Picture

I recently purchased Stronghold Crusader II with the Bonus Content which includes Stronghold HD. After loading both games I'm able to play Crusader II with no problems but when I try to play Stonghold HD all I get is a blank screen with the audio playing in the background. I'm pretty sure it's a resolution problem (too high for my monitor, which the native resolution is 1024x768) but I can't figure out how to change/lower it. I tried entering "autoconfig" in the Launch Options but it didn't work. Any other ideas??

Did you try to run the game under Windows 7 compatibility mode - if you have Windows 8?

I have Windows 7 and yes, I tried running it in compatibility mode. But then I saw where it said not to run it in compatibility mode if using Windows 7. So I unchecked the box. I did see in the Help Topics on Steam where it talks about resolution issues and the different Launch Options to try. My question regarding those options, when it says to type "-g1" and "-w1024" , am I supposed to be typing the - (dash)?

I am unsure about that, you can try both, and see what happens I guess. But I am curious about how to solve this issue... If you have any problem, you can try asking this question at Stronghold Heaven or Stronghold Nation, there are more people who could help you. If that doesn't work, you can also contact Firefly Support. If you're not sure how, just tell, but it would be pity to be unable to play those games, as they are all great!

Problem solved. It was just a resolution issue. Changed monitors to one with better/higher resolution and whatta know!!! Still seems like there should've/could've been some type of setting to change, but oh well. It's working!!
