Hello Everyone,

I have found micro solution with with resoultion.

I have Full HD on my Note, but I'm using 1366x768. And I have monitor for PC with Full HD and I'm using 1920*1080 with Win 8.1 scalling.

So, If you have such troubles as me, just do this:

1. You need to find the folder with Stronghold.
*\steamapps\common\Stronghold\
2. Right Click on Stronghold.exe and choose - Properties
3. Go to Compatibility and mark - Disable display scaling on high DPI settings

That's all.

Нашел микрорешение с разрешением в игре при запуске на разных компах с разными разрешениями.

У самого есть ноут с Фулл ХД, но юзаю в 1366*768, и монитор для компа в Фулл ХД с масштабированием.

Чтобы избавиться от глюков при смене разрешения, просто проделайте следующие действия:

1. Переходим в папку, где у нас установлен Stronghold
*\steamapps\common\Stronghold\
2. Правый клик мыши по Stronghold.exe и выбираем - Свойства
3. Переходим в раздел Совместимость и выбираем - Отключить масштабирование изображения при высоком разрешении экрана

И на этом все. Можно запускать и радоваться, если у нас разные разрешения.

Thanks for making these instructions! They will be very useful.

Unfortunately it didn't work to me, I have Windows 7 operative system. Right now it again changed the resolution to higher, after me doing what you described I still had the problem, and I solved it by replacing the config file with the one from the backup I created today (which has resolution set to 1024x768).

Maybe this work on Windows 8, or in some other situations, and it is definitely worth to try - I remember I have read before that this helped to many before.
