Does Stronghold HD work on Windows 10?

Hello everybody

I'm thinking of updating my computer from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. But my question is now, if Stronghold HD and Stronghold Crusader HD will still work on the new Windows? Does anyone here has any experiences?

i played with my friend on multi and he has windows 10 so it should work

It works using compatibility mode but you still might have resolution problems.

Got it to work. Struggled at first, but get there in the end.. deffo works now. Running it on compatibilty 'Windows XP service pack 3' and ticked the box's 'Disable display scaling on high DPI settings' and 'Run as administrator'. I didnt have to change the resolution on my laptop. That seemed to have worked for me. Hope thats of help!..

I did all these and i still get a resolution error of the game not displaying properly.

Works for me fine

Sometimes the game flickers and bits of my desktop are revealing (toolbar etc) for a fraction of a second....which is annoying but other than that. Stronghold/Crusader work flawlessly.

Is there a game on steam that doesn't work on win 10 ? Never asked to me about that, maybe i'm noob. i thought all games work, never looked on specs about the version of SO.
Anyway the answer is "yes it works ;-) "
