Best way to screenshare on discord/stream with borderless fullscreen. (imo)

I use two apps, one that converts ddraw calls to directx11 and second that forces windowed borderless + render in background. Reason I use dgVoodoo2 is because specialk didn't work without it, maybe it will for you, idk.

First app, dgVoodoo2: https://github.com/dege-diosg/dgVoodoo2/releases

unpack it, copy all files from MS/x86 to root of strongold HD folder, this is enough, tho you will have a watermark (if it shows up its good)
If you want to remove it then go back to the unpacked dgVoodoo2, launch the app press the "./" button to set current location.
Then tab DirectX and uncheck "dgVooDoo Watermark" press "Apply" and copy "dgVoodoo.conf" to root of stronghold HD folder.

Second app, Special K: https://sk-data.special-k.info/SpecialK.7z

unpack it, run the SKIF.exe, first tab "Global Injection", start the service.
Second tab you can find and launch the game, if it doesn't show up just start the game normally.
When you launch the game you should see some OSD from specialk.
If you press ctrl + shift + backspace you can configure specialk, what I changed is just this: https://yatsukiko.me/u/QQouPIwY6a.png
Basically in "Window Management">"Style and Position" > check "Borderless" and "Fullscreen (Borderless Upscale)",
then in "Window Management">"Input/Output Behaviour">check "Continue Rendering" (this way if you alt tab it still renders the game normally, i think it's just smoother alt tabbing.)

try alt tabbing few times, if it doesn't work for some reason try again or try your own stuff.

Optional
Install specialk locally so you don't have to run SKIF every time: just launch the game, open specialk menu go file>"Install wrapper DLL for this game"

there is nothing special to it, just add game capture or w/e anything works really.


Other apps
Originally I used d3dwindower and borderless gaming which worked fine until you alt tabbed and the game would be only in windowed mode, with borders.
- dxwnd this works good if you are not planning to stream/record, for me it just kept
hanging and refreshes on alt tabs, which is not really optimal.
- Magic borderless, just doesn't work.
- Windowed Borderless Gaming - doesn't work at all.
- 3D-analyze worked ish, same issue as dxwnd, stream/record just kept hanging

Special K updated also some stuffs like overlay and osd disappear, can provide the current version u used to make borderless and capture discord/obs work? tried follow ur guide but doesn't work...
