Is Stronghold Crusader HD worth it?
I've never played the original, and I'm not interested in multiplayer. How's the length/replayability?

Hard to say. Depends if you're likely more for the story and community made challening maps(Then Stronghold 1 is much more likely your game), or dealing with AI opponents on trials(if the second option is okay for You, then Crusader it's your game).

Sandbox also fun, if you like that- can almost turn it into a small-scale city builder

Yes, of course! Not in Stronghold 1, but in Crusader that's the funniest mode.

Not sure if you've made a decision yet but yes both games are well worth getting especially if on sale.

Just noticed the sale again, so...You suggest Stronghold 2 and Crusader HD?Do they work well on W10?And how's the length/replayability of these games?
