Which game should I buy first?

lol ok.. it's 1 or crusader then.. is crusader accessible enough to start with or should i just get the first?

I bought the HD remake of the first one and i'm loving it, so far for me this is the best Stronghold game

If i were you.. first stronghold and then crusader .. crusader have extra content and if you start with that one you Will enjoy less the first.. 2 and 3 are just bad

Crusader HD is the best version in my opinion, has alot of content. And Stronghold Legends for guilty pleasure fantasy version ^^.

Crusader is easy to catch and good for teaching noobies basics, You can go there. If you care for the story just go for Stronghold 1. It shows atleast a storyline instead of crusader which is just a copy-paste from crusades times achivments.
Multiplayer? Crusader is the easiest Stronghold part, while Stronghold 1 is the hardest(but lot of people got problems with catch it anyway).

I just bought Stronghold Crusader HD it came with Stronghold Crusader Extreme HD.

The question:
1. Which one should i play ?
2. Are they have same story, gameplay, etc ?
3. Are there any features, building, story in Stronghold Crusader HD that Extreme version doesn't have ?

, iirc Extreme is harder and allows very big armies. You should probably try normal Crusader first.

Go from oldest to newest otherwise the older graphics will stick out like a sore thumb.

My suggestions to play first:
Stronghold HD
Stronghold 2 (HD on the way)
Stronghold Crusader HD
Stronghold Crusader 2 HD
