Monster RPG 2 Crashing
There isn't much I can say about this issue as there doesn't seem to be anything causing it that I can see. I launch the application through Steam and after a few minutes of play time the game crashes. I tried updating all dirvers and such, verifying and re-installing it but nothing seems to work.

Any feedback would be great as I am roughly halfway through the game when this started to occur and I would really like to finish it.

It started happening in the mountains outside Flowey when I went back to raise up before going to the beach. I would finish a few battles and the game would suddenly crash.
It has also happened on the beach itself when I was fighting the second group of three monsters.

I'm running a fresh installation of Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit).

I'm not sure if this would help but I started the game on my Alienware Laptop running the same OS and only started having issues when I attempted to continue on my PC using the steam cloud.

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTX 980 and the Geforce Experience application just installed Game Ready driver 378.92.

I tried adding both of those commands to the launch parameters for the game one at a time and neither has had any affect.

There doesn't seem to be much info in it but I could post the event error log if it might help.

No worries. I am very curious as to what could be causing it though.

No joystick or gamepads of any kind. Just using my keyboard. I have a Razer Sabertooth Elite that is plugged in but I have not been using it with this particular game.

I tried looking for something more detailed but this is all I could find in the event log:

Unfortunately that did not fix the issue. Still crashes in the same spots.

It seems as though the changes you made to the new build are doing the trick. I've been playing for about 30 minutes now just to make sure and haven't had a single issue.

Thanks a lot for all your help, I appreciate the quick response to the issue and all the feedback.

I hate to say it but I just went back into the game after sending you that message and it crashed almost immediately. It did provide a crashdump file although I'm not sure how to analyze it.

Sure. Just sent it off.

That's good, I'm glad you were able to find the source of the issue. Out of curiosity, what was causing the crash if you don't mind my asking?

I've been playing for a few hours again now and I even exit and launched the game a few times to be sure and everything is working great.

I appreciate the trouble you went through the resolve the problem. If I encounter another error, I'll be sure to collect any crash dump files I can find.

You've got a fantastic game here and I'm glad I get to finish it. Thanks a lot.
