It looks like an installation issue, your antivirus might have blocked the executable, or your download process has been corrupted somehow. You could try Right Click/Properties/Local Files/Verify Integrity of Application Cache after restarting your Steam client.

Had the same problem with my anti-virus.
Exit the steam launcher, start it again, and press Play.

I'm afraid there's nothing else I can do at the moment, as this seems to be a unique issue, I suspect something hasn't been set up correctly on your side. The executable is a valid 32bit application running fine on several machines.

Giving it a search there are a couple of results with possible solutions for this error message:

The Demo from the website works on my computer the steam one & i bought 4 packs does not work I have tried eveything ,I am a expirenced computer user .
What can you do about it.

Hi David,

If you're using the version available on Steam, and have purchased some additional DLCs here, please make sure they are downloaded, then start the application. It should recognise and register your new packages.

When I logon with my Userrname & Password to the webssite when in steam and press login I get a runtime error Program... mmon/ePic character Generator/ePic character Generator.exe.

I'm sorry to hear that David. Have you tried running the program again? There might have been some temporary issues with the server.

Unfortunately there are no crashes reported on the program yet on the admin site. If the issue still happens and the application crashes, an error log is being generated. It should be under the Steam/steamapps/common/ePic Character Generator/logs folder. Can you look it up, and if there are one or more files in this folder, send them to us via email to [e-mail]? Thank you!

Hi, I installed the free version here on steam then bought one of the DLC (on steam too) and said DLC won't work, any idea why ?
