False advertising and shady practice. 1492 was their original intent of a clone of Colonization, they got burnt and now they had to recreate on the quick another game with a few added mechanics here and there.

Also this game has AI slop written all over it. All 1492 owners got shafted and I quote the dev “will no longer receive updates” without a hint of explanation or attempt to make up for it. They abandoned it because of a lawsuit. Red flags flashing like no tomorrow.

Check out CEO their other game, which is a blatant copy of Capitalism. And also here the dev stopped supporting the game. To this day it’s in early access.

In any case, avoid these guys (Salty Olives) at all costs, since they're obviously in the market for making money on the IPs of others. They don’t deserve your business.
