Hello everyone, and welcome to the very first developer update for Echoes of the Cave here on Steam!

This is our official introduction to the Steam community, and we’re excited to finally open the gates to the mysterious world we’ve been building. Thank you for being here at the start of this journey.

Echoes of the Cave is a dark, atmospheric puzzle-narrative game set deep inside an ancient cave system. The experience blends symbolic puzzles, and immersive lighting to create a quiet, mysterious adventure.

With the Steam page now live, you can follow development, wishlist the game, and watch the project grow step by step.

A lot has happened behind the scenes recently. Here are the big highlights:

• Integration of the final main character model has started.

• Production is underway for Tiziri, the new female DLC character who will expand the gameplay experience.

• Cave lighting has been refined to create a darker, more immersive environment.

• Puzzle symbols have been upgraded to a golden visual style for clearer readability and stronger thematic impact.

• Cinematic scenes (intro + gate opening) are now smoother and more polished.

• Steam SDK has been fully integrated.

• Achievement setup and store backend details are currently being finalized.

Now that the Steam page is live, we’ve officially started working on the game’s trailer.

The trailer will showcase:

• The cave’s atmosphere and lighting

• The main puzzle systems

• Golden symbols and interactions

• Cinematic sequences

• Early reveals of the main character and Tiziri

Footage capture is underway, and we can’t wait to share the first look.

• Final character rigging and animations

• Completing the UI and hint/language systems

• Editing and releasing the official trailer

• Continued polishing of levels and lighting
