Graphics problem, Geforce GTX 980m (8GB DDR5 RAM)
Hi.

Why does PCM 2016 report in the settings of the game, the correct graphics card (GTX 980m), but the avaliable video card memory of 128MB instead of 8GB that i have?

This makes the game recommend ultra low settings, and running a 3D race not only takes forever to start, but the lagging after the 3D race screen appears is unplayable...
(I've tried every setting from very high to very low, very low still is 100% unplayable).

I run the game on a high end gaming laptop (Alienware 17 R3, top specs. As stated above the graphics card is a GTX 980m card with 8GB RAM, the computer has 32GB RAM and top notch i7 processor).

Any suggestions what to do to correct this, or to the developers: It's a serious issue that the correct videocard is not correctly shown, and that the avaliable videomemory is at an astounding low 128MB for some insane reason....

Would appreciate any help to get this game somewhat playable..

Your computer has two graphics cards: INTEL and NVIDIA.
Please run your games on the NVIDIA graphics card.

Please select the NVIDIA graphics card to play Pro Cycling Manager 2016:

1. Right click on the background of the Windows Desktop and click NVIDIA Control Panel.
2. Click Manage 3D settings under 3D Settings in 'Select a Task...'.
3. Click the tab Program Settings under 'I would like to use the following 3D settings:'.
4. Click the button Add under '1. Select a program to customize:'.
5. Browse and open the folder 'Pro Cycling Manager 2016' located by default in 'Local Disk (C:)', folder 'Program Files' or 'Program Files (x86)', 'Steam', 'SteamApps' and 'Common'.
6. Select the application 'PCM' (PCM.exe) and click the button 'Open'.
7. Select 'High-performance NVIDIA processor' under '2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program:'.
8. Click the button 'Apply' then close the NVIDIA Control Panel and run the game.

The available video memory is a display issue.
Once the NVIDIA graphics card selected, please change the graphics preset.

I am also using GTX 950m but the game reports it as 128mb instead of 2GB. I have these settings correct and it does not work.

Thank you for the reply FHI help desk, i actually thought that if i didn't manually assign a profile to a game, the global setting would be the chosen option. Apparently not... :)

Graphics now work much better, and no lagging any more.

The avaliable RAM is still displayed as 128MB instead of 8GB, but as long as the game is playable that's all that matters to me :)
