Corner vs Drift attribute
This one is confusing. I’m using landspeeder and to me it sounds like they pretty much do the exact same thing besides drift mean holding down the drift button.

So which one should I focus on or do it even matter?

My understanding is they both contribute. Cornering affects how much you can steer using the stick, drifting affects how much more you can steer while drifting (as well as affecting some other aspects, like how much boost you get when exiting a drift on the bike).

If you don't drift, then cornering would make sense to upgrade first. If you do drift a lot, then go with drifting. You'll probably want some points in both though.

Drifting also controls how much speed you lose while holding drift, and for the speeder bike how much boost you get coming out of the drift. For the skimmer I suspect it's changing how quickly you can change direction too, but I'm not certain of it.

What to focus on really depends on what you're flying and how you play. In the land speeder I'd split the two with a priority on cornering, because it definitely needs cornering help and cornering without drifting is almost always faster, but it's going to spend time drifting no matter what you do. The speeder bike I'd go all-in cornering, hardly ever need to drift. And the skimmer I'd focus on drift first because you're going to need it damn near every turn and you don't want to lose that momentum, then cornering/afterburner.
I generally use ramjet as much as possibly and I’m not sure you can take corners without drifting with ramjet active.

If you like to ramjet drift is needed
From what I can see it is better to just turn without drifting if you can because there is speed loss with drifting.

However if you coming in fast in a sharp curve that is generally too risky and drifting becomes necessary.

If you level up corner you can turn better, meaning you can run faster through curves, but it might still not make it risk free at very high speed.

If you level up drifting you get punished less and it also get better in turning, however you do still get punished.

Likely if you focus on ramjet, level up drifting because you probably still be forced into using it a lot.

Otherwise you might probably be better off with corner.

No idea how these interact with each other, like would high corner make drift even tighter?
