What ? The cold mechanic is great, it makes your ramjet go on forever and the only thing you have to do to manage it is take a few heat gates at some point. You could race the entire planet without ever reaching the "frozen" state if you simply don't ignore the gates.

Yeah I often allow myself to freeze so I can ramjet for longer.

With the Firebug racing style your Ramjet puts you on fire, so when I'm frozen I just use that.

You can install several different parts that makes your Speeder deal with the cold in various ways. You can even use the cold to power your Energy!
If you just pick parts that boosts your Ramjet, that's on you.

Yeah no. This is a bad take lol. I LOVE the cold planet and even intentionally avoid the heat gates so I can run the ramjet longer. It's not even that hard to drive when frozen, you just slide a little more.

Freezing can be fun, depending on your build. You get used to dealing with it. Lava can also be used to your advantage. Acid is always pain...

its either drive through the heat tunnels, use a shield, a scrubber, or take advantage of the cold for longer ramjet.

Ando Prime easily one of my favorite planets.

There's many ways to counter the cold and even use it to your advantage. Also if you get a feel for how your speeder handles while frozen you dont even need to counter the cold.
