Wow Atlas is such a cheap boss.

All he does is bombard you with the same cheap attacks one of which might as well be considered undodgable even with dash.

Plus couldn't it hurt to simply give the guy a health bar so we know how much health he has, the lights were way too vague.

You need to take out all the lights (not sure which stage you mean.) I think that's ample feedback on his HP.
I would say he's definitely the hardest boss though. Never once died on the other two.

No it's not, they should have a HUD feature which shows the bosses health.

Ummm you really couldn't tell how close to defeating him you were?

He was even worse back in the original where you couldn't dash. The one thing that helps deal with him is laser guided rockets.

1 stage - run left to right and right to left, while hitting orange parts;
2 stage - Avoid his attacks behind the columns, fire between his charges.

I stood placed so that Atlas mostly shot into the lamp poles, and I could shoot at him. Took out the lights in no time. I thought the first part was harder, as there was need for more precision in the shooting.
