is anyone even playing SOTF anymore?

I've gotten on two day in a row and no severs on unofficial have players and official has no servers.

There's not many players (you can look at steam charts). If you hop on at the right timezone you can sometimes find players in Official NA and EU servers. Roughly about 8-16 players.
Weekends are more popular of course, you can sometimes find up to 40 players.

As for unofficial servers, they are almost always dead. Occasionally you'll find the 1 or 2 players, but since some servers you need 6 players to start a match, And default first shown is official servers, it doesn't get as much attention as I feel it should.

It's a sad reality. They destroyed everything that made SOTF fun and made this abomination. Some people defended it opening week saying how it was going to be so big, yet here we are. The original SOTF community was bigger than this. Weeks before this remake I was able to play unofficials easily at all times of the day. Multiple servers were up and it was a blast. RIP to one of my fav games ever, still makes me sad to this day.

it definetly isn't this the lack of updates due to this version being on the ark remake that's right around the corner huh

They used to have an awesome Hunger Games style pvp, then they switched to Fortnite pvp and it died even faster than the first one. Talking about a good call..

The LHC particle collision sent us into an alternate universe where all companies are purposely self destructing.

SOTF specifically took a known good game design that simply needed updated with the new engrams and some graphic/sound updates to be back on the map.... Instead they turned it into child's play, ADD game that was good for a weekend and everyone forgot about it altogether after that.

I can even get on a server at all without having a clan these days? Even making a damn clan and still cant get into a server..Not one damn server i have tried now without ending up at a waiting screen...! Somthing im missing??
