Bow fighting tips anyone?

I keep getting absolutely wrecked by higher elo players. Anyone have some movement or aiming tips for me?

ye when your close range start taping your mouse it will fire arrows faster than normal - if they are moving right than shoot little more to there right so they run into the arrow

Honestly, I find bows are best used when the enemy is not looking-at first. Otherwise, use pikes/spears

dont jump, back petal or stay still. Focus on Armor and leveling just your health and weight only, Move left and or right, when u see him drawing back move to the opposite direction. focus on your cross hairs. And Antfarm made a great point too, Good luck!

Frames per second and ping have alot to do with it, don't charge(hold) unless your far away tap and fire arrow fast close up.

don't jump to dodge, while jumping you are fixed into a perdictable path of travel.

Don't stop moving, lead your target. Contrary to the obvious don't jump rule, do jump just not often. Just won my first FFA with bow kill and all my kills so far have been with bow, I haven't played well enough for better weps yet :P Oh also as with most combat high ground is an advantage, not least of all more head shots.

Well you have to go right and left,use the trees to protect you,or "confuse" the enemy(i hope if you did understand i´m not english,GOOD LUCK!! :D

armor HP fortitude, all matter when it comes to taking damage, one thing people dont mention is how far back you pull the bow, some people " machine gun " and shoot arrows as fast as they can, but they dont do max damage. IF you pull your bow back all the way and do a headshot, you can very well, 1-2 shot someone in hide. Its all about taking every advanage you can, hide behind rocks, kite them till they have no stamina, take fights on high ground, dont be burdened, but as in most games, the best way to do the most damage is headshots, you can 1-2 players in any armor, given the right situation. Ive personally killed someone in flak with 1 sniper shot to the head. Theres no 1 way to win a fight, but lots of ways to increase you odds. Some players strafe back and forth, some lay down, some parachute and rain death from above, all depends on your play style and skill level. Another thing you can try is running around dinos in a bow fight, if your enemy hits the dino they will aggro it and youll have a huge advantage

playing solo in teams of 4, allows you to practice alot lol

Never jump its makes you predictable. Shoot ahead of the person if they are moving. At close range move around them tap fire( just click) and always more irregularly. Also the desync in this game is aweful at the moment. Killing someone with a bow often becomes impossible now. The desync also accounts for throwing spears btw.
Btw if you notice ur about to die just parachute away.

Parachiting is good if you have shield (and even it doesnt secure your escape), but if you dont have shield, you are easier target now.
