DEVS SERIOUSLY???? PEOPLE TEAMING IN FFA??

hiya jus lost a match in SOTF FFA... im trying to rank up ''FAIRLY'' but it seems impossible as the past 3 rounds ive played against players who are teaming up in FFA. at one point 3 people teamed up!!!!!!!!!
isnt there something to stop teaming up????? i find it pointless releasing this survivor league and prizes when there is a VAST amount of ppl teaming in ffa jus to win..

its ridiculous to give money away knowing the games poor system is being exploited

That's not about trolling or being dumb i understand ur point to a certain extend but the thing is even if it is 30 vs 1 after that its 29 vs 1 at some point everyone will fight everyone and the best will survive i would completely understand u if it was team deathmatch where teams have bad balance but its free for all so deal with it there is nothing u can do about it and there is no reason to complain about it start teaming up by ur own if u feel better then but stop crying at the devs or insulting other people cause of an honest opinion ty

Free for all doesn't mean "free to do anything", it means Everyone against Everyone. The idea of a group of friends getting on Skype or whatever and entering FFA just to pwn everyone playing legitimately...

I see a lot of people on this thread in favor of teaming in FFA. Every single one is using language like "u" instead of "you", and talking very flip... pretty sure these are 12yo squeakers. Guys, please at least pretend a bit of maturity here. There is a HUGE cash prize for the top 10 players in this category, and while I do not believe the actual top ten are cheating this way, everyone who does cheat is making it harder on the people playing for real.

My vote is that the devs find a way to penalize players who team together.

Hello all. The is a survival game. You do what you need to,to survive. There are people who make alliences in FFA becuase they know they cant win otherwise. its sad but Theres not much you can do about it. Just pick them off from range with a sniper or go for alot of tames and they will hurt each otehr in the fight. Otherwise your just have to stop playing or dont do FFA.

in a teams of 4 game last night, i went to the first superloot on a rex, there where 2 solo players up there fighting, one with 4 raptors, one with 2 stegos. they quit fighting and focused on me first. does it not make sense for people to focus on the biggest threat first?

No, everybody fights you. You should kill people as fast as you can. So pick the weakest first.

and then have to fight the person stronger than you alone? makes more sense to me to rally up a team, kill the strongest players, then kill the people you teamed with as they are weaker than you ?

You have no guarantee that the weaker person teams with you. It's a risk.

You have no guarantee that the weaker person teams with you. It's a risk.

i think a good midground would be to disallow people to join FFA lobbys that their friends are in, i think teaming with a random is fine, because of the risk involved in actually even talking to them to start with, but people that team with friends don't have to deal with that, and that IS unfair.

That's just the way it is weither you like it or not. You cannot constrain yourself with invisible rules or hide behind your flimsy sheild of honor. You either suck it up and play the game by any means necessary to get the prize or stop pretending you're there to win.

I know some of you don't want to hear that, but that's the way it is. Now, if you want ot discuss that it "should" be enforced - then by all means do so - but good luck with that because I'm not fathoming a way it can be done ANYWHERE except in the final event that's monitored. Until then insulting those who will use the best strat to pad their points and give them that shot at the prize is just stupid.

I think the reality is that we are in a generation of gaming like we are in the real world. dishonorable, cheating garbage players.

FFA means free for all as in everyone against everyone NO TEAMS. not free to do what you want as in team up with whoever you want.

If you want to team up go play 2 player or 4 player or 6 player tribe games, that's what they are there for.

If they are giving out 3500 dollars to the top player, you sure as hell know they will ban you if they catch you teaming up with players.

I'm not talking about taking out the harder target first, i mean going around taming animals together and harvesting resources together. building houses together and hiding in that house together if someone comes to attack them.

Reality is, none of us are Top players, because the top players right now are grinding their way through game after game because of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ELO system.

They would say they would just kill them, but at the same time say it's a really lame dishonorable tactic.

I find it disheartening as a gamer to hear people defending teaming up in FFA. The gaming community really has gotten full of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ people.
