Why won't Rex tame for me?

Buddy and I have been playing SOTF quite a bit and one thing we really want to do, is to tame a rex. But for the life of us we can't.

We have knocked out three across a few games and each time we load it with meat I mean like 300 plus and one time we had like 4 prime on it and nothing. We wait around for about five minutes but not even 1% tamed.

And just now I get one unconscious, in a FFA game, fill it with meat and I sit with it for 10min.and still no taming at all.

Are we doing something wrong? Are we glitched somehow? Or just unbearablely unlucky?

I can't say ive come across this problem, they do take ages to eat though. Also use prime meat from trikes, stegos, mammoths, or larger Carnos to tame it faster

Make sure prime meat is first in the Rex's inventory before the regular meat and make sure you force feed the narco berries ..

It doesnt matter which postining the meat is , shoot him unconscious wait 5 min and put prime and normal meat in his inventory , u need to check that he has always meat in his inventory otherwise the taming will go back

Make sure the meat is still in his inventory. Some players will sneak up and dump the meat out when you're not looking.

I've tamed a Rex with my buddy on a nitrado server at the Rex cave inside of the sunken forest and tried it with 2 different rexes. They won't eat anything. No Kibble, no mutton, no prime meat, no meat. It literally makes no sense. We even tried berries, which of course did not work. We also tried knocking the rex out, after it became awake again and when the rex was down, he still refused to eat. It was stating "Put Food in the Inventory" or something like that, which we already did, but it still didn't work.
Now comes the absurd part, because we both were tired and wanted this 2h madness to end. We Tried the DoTame and ForceTame command, which both still didn't work.
