I need help a little bit

oh um well this discussion isnt really important but im not good at the game... even tho with the guides it did not help me one bit and the chtin armor i dont know how to build neither the crossbow so pls someone help me out

What you need to do is get a smithing table. To do so first you have to build a forge which is around (dont remember exact numbers) 100 stone, 50 hide, and 20 wood. This can be made at lvl 20

After that you must have 8 metal ore to put into the forge and cook it. make sure to put wood in there as well and light the fire

Once done you will have 4 metal ingots. the smithing table takes hide, stone, wood, and the 4 metal (dont remember at all of what exactly but u can see in your crafting recipes). This can be made at lvl 25

Once you have the smithing table you will need to get 2 more metal ore. cook it in your forge to get a single metal ingot. put it on the smithing table and make a metal pic ax. this takes wood, 8 hide, and 1 metal ingot. Use the metal ingot to hit metal rocks (rocks that look like they have gold spots on them). This will get you the metal you need to cook to make stuff.

Cross bow only takes 5 metal ingots, wood, and some other stuff that I cant remember. You can find the recipe on the smithy table. You must be lvl 30 to make this

Chitin armor is made using chitin and hide. recipes can be found on the smithing table. You must be lvl 30 to make the helmet, chest piece, and pants. Lvl 35 to make the rest

Oh also some free tips. Dont hit the metal rocks with a stone pic. You are just wasting metal that way. I have seen so many people ruin how much metal they could of gotten to get guns and such. You can get metal from just normal rocks. Its just more rare. But you only really need 10 metal ore total before getting the metal pick.

Use the extra stone you get from hitting rocks to make a mortar and pestle (recipe found in your crafting menu. not the smithy). put any extra flint or stone in there to make spark powder. you can later turn spark powder into gun powder
