How to ride a Pteranodon?

So whenever I take a Pteranodon and try to fly it it allows me to get on it but when I try to fly it it just wont move. When Im off it works fine but for some reason when I try to ride it it doesnt move. I can still attack with it, it is just stationary.

Pteranodons have a very low weight capacity. You were more than likely too heavy for it to move.

Here are the status effects, the one I mentioned is called "encumbered". Hope this helps.

Stamina is also low on Pteranodons so you be only fly a little way like to top of a rock.
