Am I the only one sick of sexualization in games?

Im starting to hate seeing splash art of tits and ass all over the game, not to mention in the first 5 mins, they show off that they can make Elara's boobs bounce.

Good game but Im starting to get really sick of the sexual overtone in games like this or even TERA

Honestly, after reading the OP, I decided to download the game to see what all the hype was about, and the sexualization in this game is incredibly low compared to some others, like Scarlet Blade and Vindictus, to name a couple.

Not saying its right or wrong, but sex sells, and its been that way since the dawn of advertising. Its unlikely to change until people stop liking the sight of T&A. But, since that is human nature, that means it'll never stop. If the (meager) sexualization in this game is too much a distraction for you, there are other good alternatives to the games you listed.

Personally, it doesn't bug me. I neither like nor dislike sexualization in video games. Sure, sometimes it doesn't make sense (like the provebial iron bikini) and it makes me chuckle at how absurd it is, but all in all, I view it as something that "just is". I understand that humans are sexual creatures, and that as long as I am a sexual creature, advertisers and companies are likely to play on that fact for sales.

Instead of viewing it as disgusting or an insult, I prefer to think of it in the terms that the female form is so revered and sought after, that it prevades even our video games. Thats a compliment in my book.

I meant that when I said partial nudity, however it looked like they spent more time on the boob physics than they did on most of the enemy animations. Shouldn't be the focus.

If I wanted to see normal average people I would walk outside. Video Games act as an escape from reality and therefore artists should not be constricted by reality, also this a FANTASY game of course the characters are going to look outlandish.

I really really want this trend of people telling artists what they can and can't draw to end.
