No sound effects

music works fine. but sound effects are not playing. i tried the 44hz fix..didnt work.

Re-upping this, been having this issue as well despite of trying the 44hz fix. Music plays, no sound effects at all.

Same here. Music is playing...even at volume 0 in options menu.
Sound fx are barely noticeable during gameplay.
Please fix this.

use your motherboard built-in soundboard, if you are using like usb dac etc or the audio from ur TV/monitor u won't hear the sfx

Found the issue, it was trying to play sound effects through a different audio device. Had to hunt through my audio devices to see which one was getting menu sounds, then disabled it.

Everything worked fine for me after a game restart, though I guess results might vary depending on what audio device you're using and how many you have.
