I'll be writing in both languages so that no one is left out.

English:
Hello there. I'm currently looking for people to start a translation group for PT-BR based on this Steam release. There is a possibility that maybe, just MAYBE, we can apply said translation to this release officially, should Manga Gamer allow it. However, that's just a possibility, no promises were made, so at first this will be a fan effort only.
Anyone up to the task?

We already have two translators and 1 editor, so we'll need:
- 2 more translators (deep understanding of the entire story of Umineko is a must).
- 1 image editor
- 1 programmer

Please reply in this thread if you're interested.

- 1 programador

Por favor, respondam aqui se estiverem interessados.

How about an Esperanto translation? Being the simple international langauge that it is, you'd reach a wider audience and make it easier to translate to other languages.

Are you volunteering to make one? :bern:

Anyway, best of luck to you folks making a PT-BR translation. If you plan to translate from the English, try to have someone who knows Japanese so that you can know how things were phrased in the original and possibly find a better rendering than if you worked from the English only. But the English should certainly help you with seeing what compromises needed to be made when translating elements of the mystery, clues and Epitaphs into an Indo-European language.

Well, I'm still trying to recruit people, but it's pretty hard so far.

Know that Funchal99 isn't alone doing this and I've finished EP1 Kinzo's prologue already. Maybe by knowing that, more people can appear.

Thanks for your tips UncleMion, someone who knows Japanese would be really helpful too but it seems difficult to even find someone that knows English and have interest in doing this, now imagine Japanese :trolol:

I well keep doing this on my free time though and hopefully with more material to show, people will gather to help.
