Except it won't be a dub, it will be a separate audiobook, unless they change their minds.

Either way this is a Kickstarter campaign that hasn't even started and if it eventually starts and gets successful, then they will start working on the product that may take a few years to complete .

So I don't think it's worth waiting, but it's up to you

The audiobook is only a bonus. The VN will receive "Full in-game voice acting", "A Graphic Update" (PS3) and "New content directly from Ryukishi07". On January 11th Catbox Creative posted on Twitter "[...] we're just tying up some loose ends before we kick things off". January 14th they said that we'll have to wait 1.5% of 6 years to hear Shannon (about a month). "We're sorry for the wait, we're just trying to make sure everything is perfect when the Kickstarter finally launches"

You're wrong, it was planned the whole time to add a dub to the game. Currently, the status of the Kickstarter is unknown, we just know it's coming. But I think they said it'd be about a year before the dub is added if they get the funding

My bad for necroing, but we have a time frame for the kickstarter. Going off of the 1.5% statement, we will get it within 2 weeks from now, before Februrary 15. It's just a guess going off of a joke-like statement, but we will see. As for the contents, it will have a dub, all ps3 content (I assume animations as well), and actual new content. Since a new episode 9 got announced, maybe the release will be after that later this year and gold edition will bring the new episode to PC with the other content. As for the audiobook, it will come out for free as a podcast on itunes along side it.
